  • Dr.
    Chris Park
    General Dentist

    Dr. Chris Park is a Seattle native and attended the University of Washington and received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). He then went on to continue his education at the University of Washington School of Dentistry receiving his degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). Wanting to broaden his dental education, Dr. Park spent time in New York at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center completing his General Practice Residency (GPR).

    Dr. Park has a passion for dentistry and loves to serve those in need of oral health care. He strongly believes in the significance of educating and communicating with his patients when caring for their oral health. As a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Dr. Park is actively pursing his Fellowship helping him to provide the best dental care possible for his patients. He is also currently a member of the American Dental Association, Seattle-King County Dental Society, and the Washington State Dental Association. Dr. Park also loves to volunteer his time providing dentistry at the Union Gospel Mission men's shelter in downtown Seattle.

    Dr. Park loves to spend time with his family and friends, and likes to travel with his wife Rebekah. He's also an avid follower of his local Seattle sports teams…go HAWKS!

    Chris Lee
    General Dentist

    Dr. Chris J. Lee, a Seattle native, graduated with an Economics degree from the University of Washington. He then pursued his degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine located in Boston. While attending Tufts, Dr. Lee was a recipient of the Tufts Merit Scholarship and the Osher Endowed Scholarship. In addition, Dr. Lee had the privilege of being a student teacher during his final year at Tufts.

    Dr. Lee is passionate about providing preventive and multi-faceted dentistry- he is always energized by patients who improve their oral health. These passions are specially reinforced through his yearly dental mission trips in Honduras, Guatemala, and Venezuela. Dr. Lee has been involved in non-profit ventures to build clinics locally and abroad. Dr. Lee is also actively involved with the Washington State Dental Association where he serves on multiple committees.

    Dr. Lee loves spending his free time by being active outdoors and by playing sports and is involved with his church. He enjoys spending time with friends, family, and his wife, Ceybom.

    Dorothy Nelson
    Pediatric Dentist

    Dr. Dorothy Nelson is a board-certified pediatric dentist. She received her undergraduate and dental degrees at the University of Washington. Shortly after, she completed her specialty training at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center, a program heavily focused on the management of children with special healthcare needs in a hospital setting. Dr. Dorothy has continued to enjoy collaborative and multidisciplinary care with many medical providers in our community to support you and your family.

    Dr. Dorothy returned to the Pacific Northwest after residency and now has 3 young boys! She enjoys running around with them and sometimes running after them! As a lifetime learner, you may likely find her in continuing education courses, reading, and studying for anything that sparks her curiosity.

    Dr. Dorothy has valued her educational training and mentoring so much that she has become an affiliate associate professor at the University of Washington School of Dentistry!

    Dr. Dorothy has many special interests however she does have a strong focus on implementing an oral wellness approach to her practice philosophy that goes beyond the teeth. She believes pediatric dentists have an incredible opportunity to provide support to families beyond the management of cavities. You may find yourselves discussing your child’s birth history, feeding history, and sleeping history as well when Dr. Dorothy meets your family.

    Rui (Yuri) Yu
    Pediatric Dentist

    Dr. Rui (Yuri) Yu is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. She completed her BS in Biology at UNLV and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with Clinical Honors in 2013.

    To further her expertise in aesthetics and complex cases, she pursued a 2-year residency and obtained a Certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UCLA, where she served as Chief Resident. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for pediatric dentistry, after observing how positive childhood experiences are what lead to the best oral health outcomes.

    She then completed a 2-year specialty training program and received a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. After practicing in New York City for 4 years, she moved back to the west coast to be closer to family.

    Dr. Yuri was born in Shanghai, China, and grew up in Vancouver, Canada, and Las Vegas, NV. She enjoys oil painting, traveling, and finding new restaurants with her husband Daniel.

    Brenda Huynh
    Pediatric Dentist

    Dr. Brenda Huynh grew up in California and completed her Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology at the University of California, Irvine. She then moved across state to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated magna cum laude of her class. She continued her professional training with two years of general practice residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where she served as the chief resident during her last year. During her chief year, she devoted her time to seeing children and knew that she wanted to spend the rest of her career working with them.

    She completed an additional two years of advanced postgraduate specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Jacobi Medical Center and Rose F. Kennedy Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center in New York. This extended specialty training has provided her with a solid foundation of knowledge on delivering dental care to all children, including those special needs and medically compromised conditions. Within a year of graduating from residency, Dr. Huynh was awarded Diplomate status by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, distinguishing her as a board certified pediatric dentist.

    Dr. Huynh’s practice philosophy is centered on promoting preventive and individualized care for each child to create a healthy dental home. With her light-hearted approach, she has been able to put children of all ages at ease and help them to truly love visiting the dentist.

    Dr. Huynh stays up-to-date with the latest in pediatric dentistry by maintaining active memberships with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Washington State Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

    If you catch Dr. Huynh around town, she will most likely be with her husband, chasing after their little boy. She also enjoys traveling, yoga, hiking, and snowboarding during her free time.

    Christie Lee
    Pediatric Dentistry

    Dr. Christie Kim Lee, known as Dr. Christie to her patients and families, comes from a diverse background, having lived in over 7 different states and 3 countries. She was born in Southern California, but has spent a large portion of her adult life on the east coast, before moving to the Greater Seattle area in 2014 when her husband accepted a position at Seattle Children’s Hospital as a Pediatric Gastroenterologist, where he leads the Nutrition and Celiac Program of the hospital.

    She graduated from the University of Virginia as an Echols Scholar with an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. Upon graduation, she took time to explore dentistry working as a dental assistant for one of the oldest, largest and most respected pediatric dental practices in the Northern Virginia area. This is where she fell in love and developed a passion for pediatric dentistry and decided to continue her education. She received her degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania where she had the privilege to work in an honors clinic for Medically Complex Patients. She continued on to train specifically in pediatric dentistry at the University of Maryland Dental School, University of Maryland Medical Center, Kernan Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation Hospital, and had the opportunity to be part of the Cleft and Craniofacial Team at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.

    Dr. Christie is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, giving her the distinction of being a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. This certifies that Dr. Christie continuously validates her knowledge, skill, and experience for delivering high quality oral health for infants and children through adolescences, including those with special health care needs.

    Dr. Christie has been in private practice for 10 years serving a wide and diverse range of populations, from not only east to west coast of the United States, but also within the greater Seattle area. This has given her greater perspective and experience in working in a wide range of situations and with diverse populations, and the opportunity to learn and appreciate the unique needs that exist for each family.

    Her heart for serving children expands beyond the borders of the US, as she goes on medical mission trips serving the children of Cabo, Mexico by partnering with the non-profit Amigos de los Ninos

    She is passionate about empowering parents through education and is a strong advocate for utilizing and prioritizing nutrition and preventive medicine in oral health. She believes that empowering parents with confidence when making decisions for their children lies at the core of thriving children.

    Dr. Christie loves learning, both about personal growth and dentistry, as she strives to be her best self to serve others well, whether it is in her role as a mom, wife, or dentist. This is why, outside of the dental office, if she is not exploring kid friendly places in Seattle with her husband and son, she is likely learning about something or working on her health.
